New Information

I was cleaning out the attic above the office and discovered a pile of wood. Most of it was tongue and groove wood. I discovered an imprint in the back of the wood. It says, "A. W. Alderman & Son's Company" I did a search online to discover it was a lumber mill In Alcolu, SC. He not only named this town, he had his own steam locomotive to transport his goods to various local lumberyards. He had at one point also offered "coin coupons" to the public.
